Truvison is the newest in the growing list of companies entering the Indian TV market, which is seen as the next big growth segment. Last month, Xiaomi expanded its TV lineup with the introduction of Mi TV 4C Pro and Mi TV 4 Pro models. Before that, Blaupunkt launched its own televisions in the country as its competes to challenge Xiaomi, the new leader in the smart TV segment.
Now, Europe-based consumer electronics and appliances company, Truvison has also announced extension of its TV portfolio. The company has introduced “TW2462 24-inch Gaming TV” as an affordable LED TV in India. The TW2462 24-inch Gaming TV, which definitely has the worst name of any tech product, does come paired with a high performance engine and faster response for streamlined user experience. The company says the product has been designed to bring versatility to gaming experience of its consumers.
The TV comes with a glossy finish, and has several built in NES Games, which is new for a television sold in the country. It features a 24-inch Full HD 1080p IPS LED panel, which should offer better contrast and improved color reproduction. In a statement, the company claims that it has also improved the response time and contrast ratio for better gaming experience.

Apart from the Full HD panel, the 24-inch Gaming TV also comes with two USB ports, and one HDMI input. It also includes a 20W speaker that supports Dolby Digital Sound. Truvison claims that the TV has one of the lowest power consumption in the market, and uses a customized back-light mode. The 24-inch TV is now available for purchase from leading retail stores.
