Twitter is rolling out a new feature that would enable users to see the 100 most recent images posted by any user. Images will appear on the right column and can be expanded to see all (the latest 100) of them. Twitter will support its own photo-sharing service apart from TwitPic, yFrog, Instagram and other image sharing services supported in Twitter’s details pane. Prior to this release, users had no way to access pictures posted on Twitter at one place and had to dig through individual Tweets to find them. This is a great move by Twitter and would take it a step closer to make it more user-friendly, especially when it not only has Facebook but even Google+ vying for consumer attention. We would love to see how Twitter takes this forward, especially by lifting the 100 photos limit and organizing photos into albums based on hashtags that accompany them in the original Tweet.
