Typos or accidental grammatical errors in tweets could soon be a thing of past. According to Matthew Keys from The Desk, Twitter is reportedly working on a new feature that will allow users to edit a tweet after publishing it. According to Keys, after a user publishes a tweet, an ‘edit’ button will be visible for a limited time quite similar to the undo button we see after sending an email on Gmail. Hitting the edit button will let one make ‘minor’ changes to the published tweet. Twitter has reportedly said that the a user will only be able to edit a tweet once and changes will be minor in nature. It is currently not clear to what extent person a will be able to make changes or how long the edit button will be visible once a tweet is published. There’s also no word on when this feature will be finally released. It is also worth remembering that Twitter is known to experiment on a lot of new features and not everything gets a release.
