Twitter creator, co-founder and chairman, Jack Dorsey, has revealed at AsiaD that Twitter is partnering with Airtel to offer free access to Twitter to Airtel’s subscribers. The official announcement is expected in the coming weeks. Dorsey did not reveal any more details of the service or the partnership, but said that customers will be able to access the Twitter’s mobile web portal, which sounds similar to Facebook Zero, a stripped down version of Facebook, where subscribers on some carriers could access Facebook for free by going to 0.facebook.com. At the moment, Airtel subscribers can access Twitter and send Tweets over SMS using the shortcode 53000. Also Read - Twitter head Elon Musk asks some laid off employees to return: Bloomberg reports
