Micromax’s two new affordable smartphones – the Bolt A28 and Bolt A59 – have been listed online for Rs 3,599 and Rs 4,499 respectively. Micromax has not yet announced these dual-SIM Android phones, but is likely to make them official soon. Talking of features, the Bolt A28 comes with a 3.5-inch TFT display with 320×480 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1GHz Cortex-A5 chipset with 256MB of RAM and 512MB ROM. It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which is a very old version of the OS. Other features include a VGA front as well as rear camera, microSD card slot compatible with up to 32GB cards, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options. It has a 1,500mAh battery which as per the online portal gives up to 4 hours of talktime and up to 260 hours of standby time.
The Bolt A59 also comes with 3.5-inch display with 320×480 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7710 chipset along with a Mali 300 GPU and 256MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded by up to 16GB using a microSD card. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front facing camera. Other features in the phone include a 1,500mAh battery that claims to offer up to 160 hours of standby time, and up to 4 hours of talktime and connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS, and 3G.
