Sony’s lineup of Xperia smartphones this year all boast the “Omnibalance” design language, and the Japanese company doesn’t seem keen to veer away from the winning formula. A set of photos leaked courtesy of CTechCN (via Android Community) show an unknown smartphone, which too boasts the same design language, albeit with minor changes. The leaked photos show the forthcoming device’s metal frame, and from the design perspective it has an uncanny resemblance to the Xperia Z1. The size and shape remain the same, and so is the button layout with the now familiar silver power button on the right. There are some visible differences too like the bigger camera lens space, an additional hole on the top beside the headphone jack and three holes at the bottom for the microphone.
It’s still early days and there is no way of knowing what device this is. It could very well be a prototype being tested by Sony and hence we would advise you to take it with the proverbial pinch of salt.
