Bobber is a kind of motorcycle that follows a minimalistic approach, and derives inspiration from the 1930s bikers who would get rid of all the superfluous parts to make the motorcycle lightweight, and in turn much more agile, faster and fun to ride. The retro classic Indian motorcycle looks old school, but gets a modern touch as the technology on offer is no short change. Also Read - Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Long-term Review
It gets a blacked out single pod instrument gauge which houses a digital tachometer, odometer, trip meter, engine temperature, and low fuel indicator. The 120mm cartridge type suspension up front allows stable ride at all times, whereas the 50mm dual shock at rear seems capable of easing out bumps for the rider. The Scout Bobber drops anchor through 298mm dual piston callipers up front and single piston 298mm brakes at the rear. The suspension has been lowered by 1-inch, and footpegs are moved 1.5-inches closer to the rider to lend a much sportier stance. The engine on offer is the same as the Scout, which is a 1,131cc, liquid cooled, fuel injected, V-Twin that is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission. The power output from the motor is 100hp, whereas the peak torque output stands at 97.7Nm @ 6000 rpm.
The visual bits include a chopped off front fender and a relatively smaller rear fender with integrated LED indicators, and side-mounted number plate at its bottom. The street tracker handle with bar end mirrors keep the Bobber essence well and alive. Scout Bobber gets the matte black paint job, new design alloy wheels, and block lettered Indian Script logo.
