Twitter’s Vine has now arrived on the desktop platform with the company announcing full web profiles for all its users. In terms of functionality the web version of Vine has most of the features of its mobile counterpart while also offering desktop specific features like TV Mode.
Much like what Instagram has allowed desktop users for quite some time now, Vine now lets users browse profiles, watch their videos, like or comment or share them too. As mentioned above, desktop users get a feature called TV Mode, which is button situated on the right-top corner of a user profile. “This release is just a first step toward bringing you a richer, more enjoyable web experience,” Vine engineer Janessa Det writes on the company blog. “We look forward to introducing more improvements in 2014.”
