Over the past few days, numerous leaks regarding the upcoming Vivo NEX 2 have surfaced online. Among other features, these leaks have confirmed that the smartphone will have two displays (6.59-inch primary and 5.5-inch secondary, as per a report) one each on the front and the back, a setup similar to the one used by the recently-launched Nubia X. While it s too early to comment on the practicality of two screens, it s quite likely that only one of them will be active at a time. But, the question is, how do you toggle between the two panels? The answer is simple: with a simple gesture.
A short hands-on video (embedded below) of the alleged Vivo NEX 2 has surfaced online, highlighting the toggling mechanism between the smartphone s two displays. As shown in the video, all it takes is a three-finger horizontal swipe gesture on the currently active display to switch over to the opposite display.
If a recent report is to be believed, Vivo NEX 2 will go official in China on December 11. The flagship smartphone will most likely be powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. It s also expected to pack in an under-display fingerprint sensor, just like its predecessor.
