There s no denying the fact that the Vivo NEX is among the most-innovative smartphones to have come out in a long time. From its all-screen facade to an under-display fingerprint scanner, the NEX is crammed with goodness. It s worth mentioning that before this, people have opened up beer cans using Vivo NEX s pop-up camera, with the shooter suffering from negligible damage.
According to Vivo s own data, the NEX s pop-out camera can be extended/retracted up to 50,000 times without any issues. If that indeed is the case, then the NEX should last you a prolonged period.
Vivo NEX First Look
The Vivo NEX was recently launched in India at a price of Rs 44,990. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, and is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the front is a 6.59-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display that stretches nearly to the four sides, with a nominal bezel.
The smartphone also has an under-display fingerprint sensor, and runs Vivo s Funtouch OS baked on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. At the back, the NEX has a dual-camera setup with a 12-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor. A 4,000mAh battery juices up the whole package to last you through the day.
