The Vivo S6 5G smartphone has been launched in China. This 5G device offers an AMOLED panel, Samsung’s flagship chipset, a big battery, four cameras at the back and more. The Vivo S6 5G is listed with three options – black, white and blue. The sales will begin on April 4, and interested customers can pre-order the device anytime. As for the pricing, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version of the Vivo S6 is priced at RMB 2,698 (approximately Rs 28,678). The price of the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version is set at RMB 2,998 (approximately Rs 31,860). There is no word on the international availability of the new Vivo device. The Vivo S6 5G comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. There is a waterdrop notch on the front, which houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It features an in-display fingerprint reader. On the software front, the device ships with Funtouch OS 10 based on Android 10. As for the cameras, there is a circular module, which houses 4 cameras. The setup includes a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper. There is also a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots. The smartphone is fueled by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging tech.
The Vivo S6 5G supports technologies like CPU Turbo, AI Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo, Game Turbo, and ART++ Turbo. Connectivity options include a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.1. The latest Vivo phone will be available for purchase via the company’s official store, Tmall, JD.com, and other major online and offline platforms.
