Recently, Vivo started sending out media invites for an event scheduled for September 6, where it’s expected to launch the V11 smartphone in India. Now, the soon-to-be-announced V11 has been spotted online, confirming some of its key aspects.
A Russian website, Mail.Ru, has shared a few images of the Vivo V11. The images clearly show a small, ‘waterdrop’ notch that debuted with Oppo’s recently-launched F9 Pro smartphone. They also show the V11 with a glossy rear panel having a dual-tone gradient paint job. Since the front of the smartphone is all screen, and the rear doesn’t have any hardware except for a dual-camera system, it’s quite possible that Vivo V11 will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Thanks to recent leaks, we already have a fair idea about what the V11 will have in terms of hardware. According to a report by 91Mobiles, the device is expected to sport a 6.41-inch FHD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It’ll likely be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone is also expected to support microSD cards of up to 256GB.

As mentioned, Vivo V11 will come with a dual-camera system at the back. It’ll probably comprise a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. A 25-megapixel camera at the front will handle selfies and video calls. The V11 is all but certain to run Android Oreo out-of-the-box, with Vivo’s Funtouch OS UI overlay baked on top.
