Vivo today announced a revised price of its Vivo V3 smartphone. The smartphone, which launched for Rs 17,980, is now available for Rs 14,980. Some of the key features of the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, fingerprint scanner and a metal body. The smartphone is available in two color options, gold and rose gold. Vivo V3 specifications
The Vivo V3 comes with a 5-inch HD display. It runs FunTouch OS 2.5 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage, and supports 128GB expandable storage via microSD.
For photography, the Vivo V3 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, PDAF and Quick Capture. It has an 8-megapixel front facing camera. It is powered by a 2,550mAh battery with Quick Charge feature. The Vivo V3 offers connectivity options like dual-SIM, 4G with VoLTE and LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
At a revised price, the Vivo V3 will look to give a much closer competition to the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Lenovo ZUK Z1, which come with a similar set of features. The Vivo V3 is still about Rs 3,000 more expensive than the Redmi Note 3, which is priced at Rs 11,999 for the 32GB model. The Lenovo ZUK Z1 is priced at Rs 13,499. Also, you have VoLTE smartphones like the Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus, Lyf Water 7 and Oppo F1 in the same price range.
