Vivo launched the V9 smartphone with a full view display and a notch in India earlier this year in March, and a month later, the company also launched the V9 Youth in the country. That’s not all, Vivo also recently launched the V11 Pro with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Now, we have learnt that the Chinese company is all set to introduce one more smartphone in India sometime next month.

Called V9 Pro, the smartphone is set to launch in October, but there is no word on the specific launch date yet. It is expected to feature a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with a notch on top. Under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage is expected. It is also likely to include expandable storage option using a microSD card.

Vivo will most likely to offer the smartphone in Black and Nebula Purple color options. At the back, a dual camera setup is expected, but there is no word on the resolution. Like other Vivo smartphones, a high-resolution selfie snapper with support for face unlock could be in tow, but again, there is no word on the resolution.

In the software department, Android 8.1 Oreo is expected. Lastly, the smartphone is expected to be priced under Rs 20,000 range, and will compete with the likes of Xiaomi Mi A2, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Moto G6 Plus and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 to name a few. There is no word on when the smartphone will go on sale and where all it will be available, but as the launch event draws closer, we expect to learn more details about the same.
