Vivo has added another smartphone to its V9 series in the form of Vivo V9 Youth. The smartphone had leaked a few days back and now the Chinese smartphone maker has silently introduced it in the Indian market. The Vivo V9 Youth retains some of the design elements seen on Vivo V9 and will be available in two different color options.
It is interesting that Vivo did not launch the smartphone alongside the original V9 last month. Vivo is also anticipated to add another variant called Vivo V9 Plus to the lineup sometime soon. According to IDC, Vivo is the third-largest smartphone brand in India but its selfie-centric devices are being targeted by the likes of Xiaomi.
“At Vivo, we are continually pushing norms to make cutting-edge technology available to everyone at a competitive price. With the launch of the Vivo V9 Youth, we are bringing the best features of our flagship V9 in a new avatar for our young and modern consumers. Packed with a host of cutting-edge features, the Vivo V9 Youth is the perfect smartphone for consumers who want a holistic and powerful smartphone experience at a competitive price,” said Kenny Zeng, CMO, Vivo India.
