After full-screen displays in smartphones, now companies are moving towards future innovation. One of the recent implementations was by ZTE’s Nubia, which launched a dual-screen smartphone X with two displays – one on the front and one on the back.
Similar to Nubia, now Vivo might also be planning a dual-display phone in its NEX-series. The handset is reportedly under development and is said to feature similar dual-displays on the lines of Nubia X, “but the portion of the visual screen will be higher.”
According to a Weibo user (Digital Chat Station) via 91mobiles, Vivo has already started working on a dual-screen smartphone that will be part of Vivo’s innovative NEX series of devices. The handset is said to be under development, and Vivo is reportedly calling it “more than one side of the future” and “extraordinary dual-screen” internally, which might be the marketing slogans for this device.
The alleged information by Weibo user also adds that Vivo will be using Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC for the smartphone and the primary display will have a 6.4-inch full HD+ OLED panel. Additionally, it is tipped to feature Vivo’s 22.5W Vooc fast charging technology.
