The Vivo X21 smartphone is all set to be launched in India today. The company is hosting the event in Delhi, and it will kick off at 12:00PM. The Vivo X21 launch event will also be live streamed, and you can catch the updates on the company’s official YouTube and Facebook page.
Although the pricing hasn’t been officially revealed, the product has launched in China for RMB 3,598, which is approximately Rs 37,999. There is only said to be one variant which supports 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, the key highlight of the phone is the in-display finger print sensor. The phone will be available exclusively on Flipkart, which is also offering a cashback of 5 percent on SBI credit cards. There are also no cost EMI options available for 12 months.
Vivo X21 features and specifications
As far as specifications go, the Vivo X21 comes with a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display, with a Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is the company’s first commercial smartphone to feature an in-display finger print sensor. The phone runs on the Snapdragon 660 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
In the optics department, the phone boasts a dual-camera setup at the back, which comprises a 12-megapixel primary sensor and 5-megapixel secondary sensor for depth measurement. For taking selfies, it has a 12-megapixel sensor at the front, which comes with an aperture of f/2.0. It also features 3D mapping.

Underneath the X21’s hood is a 3,200mAh battery fueling the phone, which can be charged through the micro-USB port. The phone carries dual-SIM slots and supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS/ A-GPS. The phone runs on the FunTouch OS 4.0, based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
