Vivo X23 confirmed to launch on September 6 in China, might not come with 10GB RAM

New rumors suggest Vivo X23 may come with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option.

Vivo X23 is now confirmed to launch on September 6 in China, the same day as Vivo is launching the V11 Pro in India. The company has put up launch information through official Weibo account. The image notes Vivo X23 smartphone will be launched at 7:30 PM on September 6 in Beijing.

The successor to Vivo X21 is seen as premium mid-range smartphone from the Chinese company. Recently, Vivo’s official website in China had listed the device and even started taking pre-orders for the device. The Vivo X23 is expected to come with a 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. It borrows the tiny waterdrop-style notch design seen on Oppo R17. It seems to have thinner bezels that its predecessor, the Vivo X21 and will sport in-display fingerprint sensor as per teasers.

In terms of design, the listing on Vivo’s official website revealed that the camera on Vivo X23 will be vertically stacked and will come with AI scene detection. The smartphone is teased to feature a 3D glass on the back with Aurora finish similar to Huawei P20 Pro. The listing did showcased an in-display fingerprint sensor in addition to a new kind of facial recognition.

Vivo still hasn’t listed full specifications of the phone. The leaks and rumors so far indicate the Vivo X23 will come in two variants powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 and Snapdragon 710 respectively. Initial rumors had suggested that Vivo X23 might be the first smartphone to feature 10GB of RAM and Vivo is likely to use dual cluster design with 6GB and 4GB RAM modules. But now the rumors say that it could boasts of RAM up to 8GB with 128GB storage option.
