The Vivo X6 and Vivo X6Plus sports a 5.2-inch and 5.7-inch full HD (1080p) Super AMOLED displays respectively and feature a metal unibody construction. The body is made from anodized aluminum-magnesium alloy with laser engraving to complete the manufacturing process. Vivo X6Plus specifications and features: The smartphone sports a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with pixel density of 386ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek’s MT6752 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, paired with dual-core Mali-T760 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It is equipped with 64GB of onboard storage with an option to expand it further using a microSD card. In the photography department, the Vivo X6Plus sports a 13-megapixel f/2.2 rear camera with an LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Vivo claims that the camera app can launch in 0.6 seconds, whereas it can lock focus in 0.2 seconds.
The Vivo X6Plus also comes with a Yamaha Hi-Fi chip and a dedicated amplifier. With connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE, it also comes with a non-removable 3,000mAh battery with fast charge technology. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under Vivo’s Funtouch OS.
Vivo X6 specifications and features: A slightly compact version of the Vivo X6Plus, the Vivo X6 flaunts a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with a relatively better pixel density of 424ppi. While the processor, RAM and camera setup remains the same at the Vivo X6Plus, the onboard storage is trimmed down to 32GB. It too features a hybrid dual-SIM card where one of the slots can be used for a microSD card. The connectivity options also remain the same, but the battery capacity is cut down to 2,400mAh.
In terms of pricing in China, the Vivo X6Plus costs CNY 3,200, which is roughly Rs 32,500, whereas the Vivo X6 costs CNY 2,500, which is approximately Rs 25,400. However, there is no word on when Vivo plans to launch these smartphones in India.
