Vivo s upcoming smartphones, the X9 and the X9 Plus are being talked about every other day. There’s been a lot of buzz around the pair of dual front cameras that the new Vivo phones will sport. While dual cameras have been one of the biggest trends in smartphones this year, Vivo seems all set to join the bandwagon. Though Vivo aims to stand out with dual front cameras on the X9 rather dual rear cameras. Both the X9 and X9 Plus are rumored to be equipped with a pair of 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel front cameras. Another highlight of its dual cameras is that they are capable of delivering a DLSR-like bokeh effect. Now, Vivo has released camera samples taken from the X9. And the results are stunning. For those unaware, the DSLR-like bokeh effect blurs out the background in an image and puts all the focus on one central object. In the Vivo X9, the pair of 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel front cameras, work together to capture the depth of field in pictures. The 20-megapixel sensor would essentially capture the details and the 8-megapixel sensor would obtain the depth information resulting in DSLR-like bokeh images.
The images, as spotted by GizmoChina, include two selfies taken with the dual selfie cameras. The first selfie has been taken indoors. What s striking is the clarity of the image and how every detail seems perfectly balanced. The colors pop out well and the shadows are also visible in the most minimal way near the lady s hand. The bokeh effect plays well with the background neatly blurred out. For a selfie camera to produce such images is highly commendable. The skin color of the lady is also perfectly portrayed, which could be the result of the preloaded beautification mode.
The second selfie is taken outdoors in broad daylight and is a close-up. Considering that it was taken in a bright light condition, the colors appear to be well balanced and are not washed out or bleached, which usually happens with other front cameras. The bokeh effect plays out well in this image too, with the bright backgroun blurred out. There is a third picture as well which shows the lady taking a selfie with the Vivo X9 smartphone.
