The Vivo Y51 has a 5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM. On the photography front, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera supports full-HD (1080p) video recording. The smartphone is backed by a 2,350mAh Li-Po battery. Connectivity options include support for 4G LTE bands (2300MHz and 1800MHz), dual-SIM, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and micro-USB. On the software front, the Vivo Y51 runs FunTouch OS based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. The smartphone comes with some built-in apps like the Baidu, high moral map, Netease cloud music and Tencent video among others.
Looking at the specifications, the Vivo Y51 seems to be a budget Android smartphone. If launched in India, the smartphone is likely to compete against the likes of Meizu m2, Yuphoria, Coolpad Dazen 1 and Redmi 2 Prime.
