The Vivo Y66 was launched in India this March at a price of Rs 14,999. The budget smartphone has now received a price cut of Rs 1,000, and is available on e-commerce sites for Rs 13,999. There has not been any official confirmation from Vivo India with regards to the price cut. The details of the price cut were shared online by mobile retailer Mahesh Telecom who shared the new price. The price is immediately effective as per the tweet. However, at the time of posting the article, the price of the smartphone had not changed on most e-commerce portals. While Flipkart has listed the phone for Rs 14,999 (along with exchange offer offering up to Rs 14,000 cashback), Amazon India is offering the phone for Rs 14,999 (if bought with exchange) or for Rs 13,999 (without exchange). While other websites do offer the phone at lesser prices, they are owing to current offers on the site and not because of the price drop.
