Vivo’s next budget smartphone could be called the Vivo Y81i and it is likely to be another variant of the Vivo Y81, which was launched in April. The Vivo Y81i, like the Vivo Y71i, will be the cheaper and budget-friendly alternative to Vivo Y81. While there was not much information about the device, a new leak reveals key information about the upcoming smartphone.
Vivo Y81i: Leaked Specifications and Features
The specifications of Vivo Y81i were leaked in the form of posters by a users who goes by the handle @Hackersimar. The leakster posted images that has revealed almost all the key details of the device. The Vivo Y81i shares a lot of design elements with that of Vivo Y81. It will come with a 6.22-inch FullView display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and has a notch at the front.
The leaked image shows that there won’t be a fingerprint on the Vivo Y81i but it does seem to mention implementation of Face ID facial recognition system. The leaked press image mentions that it will be powered by MediaTek MT6761 chipset. The Vivo Y81i does offer 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, which might be an indication to the fact that this is a budget device.
In terms of camera, the Vivo Y81i will have a single 13-megapixel rear camera accompanied with a LED flash. At the front, there will be a 5-megapixel selfie camera and support for AI face beauty mode which enhances the skin tone and evens the lighting conditions. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo based on FunTouch 4.0 skin and is backed by a 3,260mAh battery. The Vivo Y81i is 7.7mm thick and weighs around 143 grams.

Vivo Y81i: Leaked Price
The Vivo Y81i, as mentioned above, comes in only one storage variant – 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. It is also listed to come in two different color variants – Red and Black. The device is already up for pre-order on Lmall, a popular ecommerce website in Malaysia. The smartphone is listed for 599 Malaysian Ringgits, which roughly translates to Rs 10,630.
