Following the launch of Reliance Jio 4G services, existing service providers are constantly amending their coverage and quality so as not to lose out on customers. In a bid to further its reach in the country and offer a seamless connectivity to customers, Vodafone launched its SuperNet services in Odisha. Touted as the world’s largest 4G network, Vodafone SuperNet boosts upload and download speeds along with minimizing buffering time while streaming high definition videos. Vodafone recently launched its new SuperNet 4G plan for prepaid and postpaid subscribers under which users get 10GB of 4G data for the price of 1GB. Valid till December 31, this plan has been made available in all telecom circles where Vodafone offers its 3G/4G connection. In Odisha, which is said to be a fast growing and evolving market for Vodafone India, users can now experience faster internet speeds and remain confidently connected for their voice and data needs.
The Vodafone SuperNet 4G plan is already available for users in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. However, users in these cities can avail 9GB 4G data to use only on 4G network. While in other circles such as Uttar Pradesh (east and west), Karnataka, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Maharashtra and Goa (excluding Mumbai), Assam, North East states and Rajasthan, users get 9GB of 3G data on data pack of above 1GB. Also, the additional data is only applicable in night between12:00AM and 6:00AM. Launching SuperNet, Naveen Chopra, Chief Operating Officer of Vodafone India, said, “We have made strategic investments to build a highly modern, scalable and future-fit telecom network.
Vodafone SuperNet will enhance the mobile internet experience for customers with faster download/upload of videos and music and greater ease in using their favorite apps. Customers will also enjoy HD voice clarity.” To cater to the growing volumes of customer usage and increasing speed in the circle, Vodafone has so far invested over Rs 2,000 crore to expand, modernize and build a more technology and energy efficient network, a company release said. Vodafone has a large retail footprint with 215 branded stores spread across prominent localities in the state. Deepak Saluja, Business Head – Odisha, Vodafone India said, “Quality of network plays a defining role in enhancing customer experience. As a committed telecom service provider, our customers have a lot to look forward to. Beginning with Bhubaneshwar, we will soon expand our Supernet services across the state in a phased manner.”
