Vodafone has introduced two new prepaid plans in its effort to take on Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio in India’s competitive telecom market. The new Rs 511 prepaid plan from Vodafone is aimed to take on Airtel’s Rs 499 prepaid plan while the Rs 569 plan rivals Airtel’s Rs 558 prepaid plan. Both the prepaid plans announced by Vodafone will be available across the country. While Airtel offers more data than Vodafone, the company has managed to beat Reliance Jio in the data war. Vodafone Rs 511 and Rs 569 Prepaid Plan: Data benefits and offers
The new Rs 511 prepaid plan is the cheaper of two plans being introduced in the market. The plan gives Vodafone prepaid users 2GB of 3G/4G data per day alongside unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. The plan comes with a validity of 84 days, which translates to a total of 168GB data benefit. The cap for voice calling benefit has been set at 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week.
The second prepaid plan is priced at Rs 569 and it comes with 3GB of 3G/4G data per day. This plan offers a total of 252GB data benefit and has a validity of 84 days and is ideal for those who consume a lot of data and are away from WiFi networks. The plan also includes unlimited voice calling with daily and weekly similar to the Rs 511 plan and 100 SMS per day.
Vodafone Rs 569 prepaid plan vs Airtel’s Rs 558 prepaid plan
In comparison, Bharti Airtel offers a prepaid plan priced at Rs 558, which also gives its users a total of 3GB of data per day. The plan offers a total of 252GB data but is cheaper than Vodafone’s prepaid plan. The plan also includes unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day and has a validity of 82 days. Unlike Vodafone, Airtel gives truly unlimited voice calling benefits.
Vodafone’s Rs 511 prepaid plan vs Reliance Jio’s Rs 448 plan
Reliance Jio offers 2GB data per day for a period of 84 days with its Rs 448 prepaid plan. The plan is definitely cheaper than Vodafone’s offering and customers even have an option to extend the validity to 91 days with Rs 498 prepaid plan.

Vodafone’s other prepaid plans
Besides these two prepaid plans, Vodafone also sells two other prepaid plans priced at Rs 549 and Rs 509. These plans offer 3.5GB data and 1.4GB data per day for a period of 28 days and 90 days respectively. These prepaid plans also come bundled with 100 SMS benefits and unlimited calling benefits.
