Reliance Jio has been on the edge when it comes to rolling out new plans with data benefits far more than the incumbent operators. Telcos like BSNL and Airtel have been quick enough to revise their plans. But it is Vodafone that has gone completely aggressive with its recent plans that not only undercut Reliance Jio’s offering, but also offer more than the competition.
Vodafone has now revised its Rs 199 prepaid plan with 100 percent more data. With a validity of 28 days, the plan now offers 2.8GB 3G/4G data daily, up from 1.4GB. This means, users get up to 78.4GB data through the validity period. The plan also offers unlimited local and national voice calls, but with FUP limits.
Voice calling to0 is limited to 250 minutes daily, and 1,000 minutes per week, and it does not include any free SMS benefits. Also, the plan is only available to select users in circles where Vodafone has 4G network, which means it is not applicable to users in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circles, TelecomTalk reports.

In comparison, Reliance Jio offers Rs 198 plan where you get a validity of 28 days, and daily data of 2GB. This means, you can download up to 56GB data through the validity period. The plan also offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and complimentary access to Jio suite of apps.
Similarly, Bharti Airtel has a plan priced at Rs 198 that offers 1.4GB daily data, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. The plan comes with a validity of 28 days, and you can download up to 39.2GB.
