In order to compete better with both Airtel and Jio, Vodafone is revising its Rs 458 prepaid plan to offer 2.8GB of data per day for 84 days. This amounts to a total of 235.2GB of data for the total validity period, which is almost twice of how much is offered currently. However, the plan only seems to be available for a limited set of subscribers at the moment. During the time of writing the story, Vodafone’s website still mentioned the plan to offer 1.4GB of data per day.
As reported by TelecomTalk, the plan is only being provided to a few subscribers, further stating that some subscribers are also getting the benefits of the plan for Rs 398. Besides the data, the plan also offers unlimited calling and 100 SMS benefits for a day. The latter, however, is not available for all users.
The revised plan competes with Reliance Jio’s Rs 448 and Rs 449 plans, which offer 1.5GB and 2GB of data respectively for 91 days. Even Airtel has a Rs 448 pack, which offers 1.4GB of data benefits for a validity period of 82 days. In additions to that though, all plans do offer unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day benefits for all users.

Only two days ago, Vodafone also revised its Rs 199 plan with a 100 percent more data, which amounts to 2.8GB of data per day for a validity of 28 days. The plan now offers 3G/4G data and offers calling benefits of 250 minutes daily and 1,000 minutes per week. Sadly, it does not include any free SMS benefits.
