Vodafone has been going all aggressive with its range of prepaid and postpaid plans that offer more data at lower costs. The plan comes with a validity of 28 days and it is only available in circles where Vodafone has its 4G operations. In comparison, Reliance Jio has a plan priced at Rs 98 and it comes with 28 days validity. Users get unlimited calling without any FUP, and 2GB high-speed 4G data. The plan also includes 300 SMSes and complimentary access to the Jio suite of apps. Clearly, for the same price, Jio has a much better offering compared to Vodafone.
Airtel also has a plan priced at Rs 99, which offers benefits like Jio. The plan comes with a validity of 28 days, and offers 2GB 2G/3G/4G data. Users also get unlimited voice calling without any FUP, and 100 free SMS daily. However, this is not an open market plan, and available only to select users. The rest of the users get 2GB data, 2,800 SMS and unlimited calling.
