Ex-Android VP Hugo Barra has not only moved on from his days at Google, but also seems to be really enjoying his life at Chinese company Xiaomi. At a recent Xiaomi event in Taiwan, Barra not only answered all the media questions, but also did an entertaining Chinese number for the gathered audience, Tech In Asia reports. His song/dance number was a part of an entertaining interactive session with the audience where people danced on PSY s Gangam Style and Xiaomi s volunteers played a rendition of Scott Joplin s The Entertainer on the saxophone.
But, as mentioned above, Barra clearly stole the show when he got on the stage adorned in a ruffled suit, a pair of big sunglasses and a wig. He danced and much to the surprise of many sang a popular Chinese pop song by Wu Bai.
The event at Taiwan was Xiaomi s first flash sale outside mainland China, where the company sold 10,000 units of its smartphone in less than 10 minutes.
