Go to YouTube, and you will find plenty of unique and fun of smartphone unboxing videos. OnePlus is also joining the league with its own unboxing video where it takes things little extreme, actually hundreds of feet above from ground. Teasing its latest OnePlus 3T smartphone, the company has put up a promo video on its official channels where Jake Paul from YouTube unboxes the smartphone from the cockpit of a fighter jet. The video begins Jake Paul on military airfield in the Czech Republic walking towards the cockpit of a military fighter jet. Jake had to unbox the OnePlus 3T from inside the cockpit while riding on to the fighter jet, and clearly it wasn’t an easy job. Jake is then shown taking out the OnePlus 3T and the in-box contents such as the manuals and the fast charger, all of this while braving the super fast fighter jet.
During the two-minute long video, Jake also manages to highlight some of the OnePlus 3T‘s features. He talked about the design and the space grade aluminum used for the phone’s body. He also mentions the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and 6GB of RAM. Furthermore, Paul even took himself a selfie with the 16-megapixel front-facing camera, which he said wasn’t easy to do in the fighter jet. He also talked about the Dash Charge technology, which the company claims is good enough to charge your phone to last for a day in half n hour.
To recap, the recently launched OnePlus 3T comes with a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 1080 pixels) Optic AMOLED display with Corning s Gorilla Glass 4 on top. On the photography front, it sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX398 image sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Auto-focus (PDAF), Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), and 4K video recording capabilities. The smartphone is armed with a 3,400mAh battery. There is also a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button up front. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. The OnePlus 3T runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Oxygen OS, and the company has guaranteed update to Android 7.0 Nougat later this year.
The OnePlus 3T is all set to hit the Indian shore on December 2. Talking about the price, the The OnePlus 3T will be available in two storage variants 64GB variant and 128GB variant, both featuring 6GB of RAM. The 64GB variant is expected to be priced around Rs 30,000 whereas the 128GB variant will be somewhere around Rs 32,500. OnePlus had launched the OnePlus 3 in India earlier this year with a price tag of Rs 27,999.
