For quite a while now, Samsung has been rumored to be planning on launching a smartphone with four cameras. The company also has a launch event planned for October 11, 2018, and going by the 4x fun tagline, it s possible that we may see the chaebol s first quad-camera smartphone. Even though not much is known about the unannounced smartphone, a recent report had claimed that it could be called Galaxy A9 Pro (2018). Now, a visual designer named Waqar Khan has used previous leaks and rumors to mock up a render video (embedded below) of the alleged Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro, giving us a hint of what it may look like. The video does an interesting take on the Galaxy A9 Pro s design. It shows the smartphone having four rear cameras, stacked vertically on the top-left corner. Just below that is an LED flash, while the square fingerprint sensor is visible in the center of the top half.
Coming to the front, things look much more conventional here. The smartphone is shown with an 18:9 display, thankfully without any notch. The top bezel is shown as having a single front-facing camera, an earpiece, and the usual assortment of sensors. The bottom bezel is completely bare, which means the Galaxy A9 Pro will come with on-screen navigation buttons. The render video also shows the smartphone in three colors black, blue, and copper.
If the video is indeed a near-accurate description of the upcoming Galaxy A9 Pro, we can assume that it will have a total of five cameras, a first for any smartphone.
