To be honest, nothing much has changed in terms of layout – the batteries from the 2011 MacBook Air have been carried over and so has the wireless module from Broadcom. Even the fan seems to be the same old one, not the asymmetrical ones that Sir Jonathan Ive talked about yesterday, which is being used in the next generation MacBook Pro with Retina display. Now coming to the things that have changed. The SSD module looks similar to the last generation model but seems to have different connectors.
