In July, WhatsApp previewed ‘Stickers’ in beta app on Android, and now according to WABetainfo, the company has added a new sticker pack called “Biscuit” in the beta version as well. These Sticker reactions feature is being tested in Beta, and there is currently no set time frame as to when they will be available to everyone.
The Facebook-owned company has already said that these will be available in future, although it has been quite some time that WhatsApp first announced about third-party stickers support. This has already been an eventful 2018 for the company as it has been launching and testing new features almost every month.
Recently, WhatsApp also started testing ‘Swipe to Reply’ feature for its Android app. The feature is already available on WhatsApp for iOS, and it was recently spotted in Android version 2.18.282 of WhatsApp’s beta app. With ‘Swipe to Reply’ feature, users will be able to reply to a particular message by simply swiping over its message bubble. We are expecting the feature to roll out to Android users soon.

The company has also been working on ‘Dark mode’ like the YouTube, Twitter, Reddit. Reportedly, the ‘Dark mode’ will work for both iOS and Android apps. The feature is said to be in testing, and it’ll help reduce strain on user’s eyes while using WhatsApp at night or in low-light conditions. There is a possibility that WhatsApp might optimize the mode for phones that have OLED displays as well.
