It has been a long wait for WhatsApp Stickers since its preview in July. WhatsApp beta users have had access to stickers for quite sometime now, and the Facebook-owned company recently added a new sticker pack called “Biscuit” in the beta version as well. These Sticker reactions feature is being tested, and there is currently no set time frame as to when these stickers will be available to everyone using WhatsApp.
Now according to WABetainfo, WhatsApp will allow you to externally download stickers packs. The app is said to be getting an option of “Get More Stickers” that will take users to the Google Play Store, where it will reportedly allow users to download stickers from other apps. The other possibility of a new “WhatsApp Stickers” app cannot be ruled out either. The feature is said to go live for users in beta, so then we will soon have more details about the feature.

"GET MORE STICKERS" will open the Play Store, so you can download stickers from other apps (… or from a new "WhatsApp Stickers" app? 😉)
This is the last feature that was missing: we can expect the activation soon! pic.twitter.com/J5Upepavw6

This has already been an eventful 2018 for WhatsApp as the company has been testing and rolling out new features almost every month. Recently, WhatsApp also started testing ‘Swipe to Reply’ feature for its Android app. The company has also been working on ‘Dark mode’ similar to what you see on YouTube, Twitter, Reddit. Reportedly, the ‘Dark mode’ will work for both iOS and Android apps.
The ‘Swipe to Reply’ feature is already available on WhatsApp for iOS, and it was recently spotted in Android version 2.18.282 of WhatsApp’s beta app. With ‘Swipe to Reply’ feature, users will be able to reply to a particular message by simply swiping over its message bubble. We are expecting the feature to roll out to Android users soon.
