The website gives you a peek into how much money Apple is making and how many products it s selling every second. The website lists separate counters for iPhones, iPads, Mac, Apple Watch, iPad Pro, app downloads, iTunes downloads, iMessages sent, FaceTime calls made, Apple Maps queries (wonder who is using that?!), Apple retail store visitor, dollars worth of gold that Apple is extracting from its iPhones, amount of money it s spending on research, money spent on marketing, money spent using Apple Pay, revenues, and of course the profits. Every time the clock ticks, you can actually see the numbers rushing up. Also Read - Apple CEO Tim Cook claims iOS is more secure than Android
While all other tabs have numbers running faster than you can count, the sales of Apple Watch, Macs and iPad Pros are the slowest. On the top of the website s page, it shows how many seconds or minutes you have been on the page and from that moment it starts running the number of each sales and profits. So, when we visited the site, in 20 seconds, Apple had sold 129 iPhones, 26 iPads and 10 Macs. In close to 5 seconds, Apple made revenues worth $54,000 and profits worth $11,000. In that time, 3 Apple Watches and 3 iPad Pros were sold, 6.640 apps and 2017 iTunes songs were downloaded.
Every second also has a similar seconds-based stats page for YouTube, and the numbers running on that one are close to crazy. It has a live count for every adding views on the website, total hours of video upload, total hours of videos watched and so on.
