December, the month of round-up, lists and best of 2014s has begun, and after the Bing top search list yesterday, Google has decided to give us its own list. Google has rounded off a list of the best Android apps of 2014. They have listed a sum total of 68 apps in the store and TED, Lumosity, Wunderlist and Swiftkey have made it to the list. According to Google, Wunderlist is the most awesome app this year. It ranks numero uno on the list, followed closely TED. The one thing that’s interesting is that, even though instant messaging apps like Telegram and the recently launched Skype Qik make it to the list, the widely used WhatsApp is not seen anywhere. We considered the idea that the list may only have apps that were released this year, but apps like TED and CNN have been around for a long time. Most of the apps listed in are free, however, some are paid apps. The Amazing World Atlas costs Rs 180.79 and the Ultimate Guitar Tabs and Chords app cost Rs 123.32. Here’s a full list on Google’s choice of the best apps this year.
