The Apple WWDC 2017 kick started with CEO Tim Cook’s keynote where he detailed the company’s progress in app development and the event began with the first major announcement of the day related to the watchOS 4. The all-new watchOS 4 gets three new watch faces, enhanced apps, and improved UI for a more intuitive experience. To begin with, the watchOS 4 has been added with three new watch faces which include – Siri face, Kaleidoscope face, and Toy story face. The Siri face has been integrated with the enhanced version of Siri which now uses machine learning to suggest more personalized information. The Kaleidoscope face, as the name suggests, will add a more pop effect to the Apple Watch. This face is further customizable, as you can use existing images in your library to create a kaleidoscope face. The third face uses popular Toy Story characters – Woody, Jessy, and Buzz – as watch face; every time you flip the watch, these characters come to life to show you the information. In addition to that, the Activity app, Workout app, and Music app have also been further improved. The Activity app now gives more personalized notifications with new monthly challenges while the Workout app gets new UI, high intensity workout mode, and can also be integrated with your regular gym machine. The Music app for the Apple Watch has been updated to offer a personalized experience. It can now automatically play music through the AirPods based on your preference.
