Xiaomi has so far launched the Mi 4i and the Mi Note Pro in 2015, and now thanks to a new leak, we know exactly what the Chinese smartphone vendor plans to dish out throughout the rest of the year. This year, Xiaomi plans to launch the Mi 4S, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 2 Pro and the Mi 5, if Chinese site Mobile Dad is to be believed.
The image leak shows the release timeline of all the above mentioned smartphones with their specs. The Note Pro released a few days ago is also present in the slide. The next smartphone is called the Xiaomi Mi 4S and it is set to launch in June. It will feature a 5-inch full HD display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. On the photography front, it should sport a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with OIS, and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper.
In July, Xiaomi plans to launch the successor of the Redmi Note – the Redmi Note 2. The Redmi Note 2 features a 5.5-inch HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Alongside the Redmi Note 2, the Redmi Note 2 Pro will also be unveiled. It will have a 5.5-inch full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras.
The image reveals that the much awaited Xiaomi Mi 5 isn’t being unveiled till November. The specifications on the Mi 5 are a stellar 5.2-inch Quad HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, and a 20.2-megapixel rear-facing camera. These specs fall in line previous leaks which also say that the Mi 5 will sport 4GB RAM and a 3,000mAh battery.
These release dates, if the leak is true, are set for China, and it is not sure when the devices will come to India. The company currently sells the Mi 4i, Redmi 2, Redmi Note 4G, Mi 4, Mi Band and Mi Pad in India.
