Xiaomi has already launched its flagship Mi Note and Mi Note Pro a variant with a 2K display earlier this year. It has also launched a new smartphone in its Redmi series, called the Redmi 2. A few unannounced Xiaomi smartphones too have been spotted online, which could see the light of the day at the end. These include an affordable variant of the Mi 4, an entry-level variant of the Redmi 2, and a smartphone codenamed Ferrari.
But the line launching new Mi product(s) could also entail at an unveiling of an altogether new product category. Word out of China is that Xiaomi is working on a circular smartwatch, which could be an Apple Watch killer. The wearable is expected to feature a brushed metal design and will come with the ability to monitor blood pressure via pulse wave velocity recognition.
