Xiaomi with the latest Mi Internet Radio has fixed a problem which was prevalent in its predecessor. The previous version of the Mi Internet Radio lacked an in-built battery which resulted into the constant need to connect the device to a power outlet for usage. The latest Mi Internet Radio is powered by a 1000mAh battery, which allows the user to carry it around like a portable device. However, there are no details on how powerful the battery is and how much runtime it has after a full charge. Other than the built-in battery addition, the rest of the features and specifications remain the same as seen in the previous Mi Internet Speaker.
One can connect the Mi Internet Radio with their smartphone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and configure the device on Mi Home app. Xiaomi says that Mi Internet Radio users will get access to over 300,000 different online radio stations offering various genres. The Mi Internet radio is available in white color and comes in a square shape. There is a small button placed on the top right side in orange color, which is the power button.
