According to GizmoChina, the new Turok Steinhardt (TS) glasses essentially protects the eyes from blue light emitted from smartphone display, LED TVs or monitors, and other fluorescent lights. It is worth mentioning that blue-light is not always harmful but in certain cases of prolonged exposure can lead to dry and strained eyes, blurry vision, headaches or unhealthy sleep cycle. Also, a lot of smartphones and computers today come with integrated blue-light filter and night modes to reduce strain from users eyes.
