Xiaomi is hosting a launch event in Bengaluru on September 27 where it is set to launch new smart home products ahead of the Diwali season. The company has already started teasing the launch with the theme being “Smarter Living”. Xiaomi has updated its cover picture on Twitter handle which drops subtle hints at the products that we could expect to see at the launch event.
To begin with, the cover photo shows a fitness band, which is expected to be the Mi Band 3. One of the other teasers on Twitter show a Mi Band 3 with heart rate sensor. And if that’s not all, Manu Kumar Jain had teased a photo with Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan along with a caption that reads that Xiaomi will be launching the next Mi Band in India next week.

Exactly 1 year ago we launched a new fitness band – Mi Band HRX! Within a short period, it became the No. 1 wearable device in India.
Excited that we are about to launch the next #MiBand in India next week 🤗

The next product is an air purifier. The company already sells the Mi Air Purifier in India, and with Diwali approaching, which is when the pollution shoots up, it would make sense to launch the successor – Mi Air Purifier 2S. The same has also been teased on Twitter.

Next is an IoT enabled surveillance camera, which could be the Mi Home smart camera that can also capture 360 degrees videos. The product has already been launched in China and it comes with a motorized swiveling top that can rotate to capture photos. It is also capable of recording 1080p videos at 20fps.

Xiaomi launched the Mi TV 4-series in India earlier this year, and there are three models to choose from. Looks like the company is now all set to launch the upgraded Mi TV 4s in India.

It comes with a 55-inch panel with 4K HDR support and AI Voice Remote. Lastly, one of our eagle-eyed colleagues pointed to a suitcase kept on top of the wooden rack. Could this mean that Xiaomi will finally launch its travel trolley bag in India? We will have to unfortunately wait and see.

There is no word on the pricing and availability of these products, but with the event just six days away, we will come to know about it soon after Xiaomi announces the same.
