Xiaomi is all set to host another flash sale for the Mi 4 64GB on Flipkart. The sale kicks off at 2:00PM today, but the company hasn’t revealed the number of units it will make available for buyers.
Registrations for today’s sale closed at midnight, and the company is unusually quiet about how many units will be on sale and how many users have registered for the sale. This is the only smartphone that is going on sale today, since Xiaomi has moved on from the flash sale model for the rest of its smartphones including the Mi 4 16GB and the Redmi Note 4G. Both smartphones are still available on Flipkart and you can get your hands on one without the need to register.
Only registered users will be able to participate in the sale. Flipkart suggests interested buyers to be online at least 2 hours prior to the sale. The last sale of the Mi 4 64GB took nearly an hour to get over, indicating that the frenzy around the Mi 4 was over. Xiaomi is also taking registrations for the Redmi 2 flash sale on March 24. The Redmi 2 was launched in India for Rs 6,999 last week. You can check out the photos of the device here.
To recap, the Mi 4 64GB is priced at Rs 23,999, which is a tad more expensive than its chief rival OnePlus One (Rs 21,999). The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch full HD 1080p display with a pixel density of 441ppi. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM.
