Xiaomi today launched the much-awaited Mi 4 in India at an event in New Delhi. In line with the speculations, the smartphone is priced at Rs 19,999. Just like Xiaomi s other smartphones, the Mi 4 too will be go on sale via Flipkart on February 10. Registrations for the first sale will kick off today at 6:00PM. As far as specifications are concerned, the smartphone flaunts a 5-inch full HD 1080p display with a pixel density of 441ppi, and is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. On the photography front, the Mi 4 has a 13-megapixel rear camera featuring LED flash, 1/3 sensor size, 1.12 m pixel size, and an 8-megapixel camera on the front. The smartphone also includes a 3,080mAh battery that the company claims can survive for a day and half on normal usage. It also claims that the battery can be charged up to 60 percent in just an hour.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front it runs on Android 4.4.3 KitKat wrapped under Xiaomi s MIUI 6.0.
