The original prices of the Mi 4 was Rs 19,999 for the 16GB variant, and Rs 23,999 for the 64GB variant. The Xiaomi Mi 4 is currently available on Flipkart without the registration model. Interestingly, the Mi 4 is not listed on Amazon or Snapdeal.
Xiaomi had made a similar price cut during its fifth birthday celebrations, where the Mi 4 16GB and 64GB were available at the same slashed price for just a day. This new official price cut, however, conflicts with earlier reports which claimed that the company wasn’t planning on any price cuts in India.
To recap, the Xiaomi Mi 4 packs a 5-inch full HD (1920 1080 pixels) display, 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 8-megapixel front facing camera, and a 3,080mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the Mi 4 supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front it runs on Android KitKat wrapped under MIUI 6.0.
Additionally, the company is all set to hold a global event in Delhi on April 23. It is rumored that Xiaomi will be unveiling a lite variant of the Mi 4, called the Mi 4i. As per leaks, the Mi 4i features a 1.65GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor, 2GB of RAM, and run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
