Xiaomi today finally launched the much-awaited Mi 4 in India. The handset packs in a set of impressive hardware and is priced at Rs 19,999. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer announced today that the Mi 4 will go on sale via Flipkart on February 10. For those who are interested in purchasing the Mi4, registrations for the first sale will kick off today at 6:00PM on Flipkart. The registrants will buy themselves a chance to purchase the device through a flash sale on February 10. Xiaomi won t be bringing a bulk of stock for the first flash sale. The company is reportedly only bringing about 25,000 to 30,000 units for the first sale. As for the specifications, the Mi 4 flaunts a 5-inch full HD 1080p display with a pixel density of 441ppi. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Other features of the handset include 16GB non-expandable internal storage. It comes with 13-megapixel rear camera featuring LED flash with 1.12 m pixel size, and support for 4K video recording at 40 frames per second. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera.
The smartphone also includes a 3,080mAh battery that the company claims can survive for a day and half on normal usage. On the connectivity front, the Mi 4 supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front it runs on Android 4.4.3 KitKat wrapped under Xiaomi s MIUI 6.0.
