Previous leaks have also pointed towards the addition of a USB Type-C port on the Xiaomi Mi 4c. However, this leak says that Xiaomi will ship a standard microUSB cable, which will double up as USB Type-C charger with the help of a tiny adapter. This will help users transition smoothly to the new faster charging port, and help during tough situations. Also Read - Xiaomi Mi Watch Revolve Active India launch date revealed: When's the launch?
A similar accessory was launched for the OnePlus 2, but you had to pay Rs 699 (and wait for Amazon India to bring it back in stock) to get hold of it. Xiaomi, on the other hand, is expected to ship the adapter along with the Mi 4c, at no extra cost.
Other leaks suggest that the Mi 4c will flaunt a 5-inch 1080p display, and will be powered by a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor. It will be paired by a 3GB RAM in the 32GB variant, and a 2GB RAM in the 16GB variant.
It will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Xiaomi Mi 4c is expected to pack a 3,080mAh battery, and will run on the latest MIUI 7 based Android Lollipop. The price of the 16GB variant of the smartphone is pegged to be priced at 1,499 Yuan (Rs 15,623 approximately).
