Xiaomi launched the Mi 4i in India back in April, with a price tag of Rs 12,999. Nearly six months later, Xiaomi has given the smartphone its first official price cut. The Mi 4i 16GB variant, which was launched for Rs 12,999 will now be available for Rs 11,999. The new price will be effective from midnight and will be reflected on mi.com, Flipkart, Amazon India, Snapdeal, The MobileStore and Airtel. The Rs 11,999 price tag is the same at which the Mi 4i 16GB variant was available during the recently concluded online Diwali sale on Amazon India. Xiaomi has simply made this discount permanent. Interestingly, the smartphone was available for much lower Rs 9,999 during Flipkart s Big Billion Day sale, as well as Snapdeal s Electronics Monday sale.
Xiaomi Mi 4i specifications and features: To recap, the Mi 4i flaunts a 5-inch full HD (1920 1080 pixels) IPS OGS display, and is powered by a second-generation 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
It also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 3,120mAh battery with quick charge support, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. On the software front, it runs on Android Lollipop-based MIUI 6.
