Xiaomi today launched the much-awaited Mi 4i at an event in Delhi, priced at Rs 12,999. As with all the newly launched Xiaomi smartphones, the Mi 4i will be initially sold through a flash sale via Flipkart on April 30. Registrations for the sale have kicked off on the e-commerce site. The Xiaomi Mi 4i sports a 5-inch full HD IPS OGS display and is powered by a second-generation 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It also features 16GB internal memory, but no option to expand it.
On the photography front, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone flash. Secondary camera shapes up in the form of a 5-megapixel sensor, with f/1.8 aperture and 80 degrees wide-angle lens.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The Mi 4i is also the first smartphone in the company s lineup to run on Android Lollipop wrapped under MIUI 6.
