We have already heard rumors about Xiaomi s forthcoming flagship, the Mi 5. But it seems, the Chinese company has another variant up its sleeves reportedly called the Mi 5 Plus, and both are expected to launch in July, GizmoChina reports. As per the publication, the Mi 5 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch QHD display, as well as a fingerprint reader, which is in line with earlier reports. Additionally, the smartphone is also said to feature a Snapdragon 810 SoC under the hood, 3GB or 4GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. The Mi 5 Plus, as the name suggests, is expected to be a larger variant of the Mi 5. It will feature a 6-inch 2K display, near bezel-less display, 4GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage and 16-megapixel rear camera. On the software front, the forthcoming smartphones are expected to run on Android Lollipop-based MIUI.
As per the publication, Xiaomi will most likely launch the two smartphones sometime in July, same as when it launched the Mi 4 last year.
